As quality and demand rose, airsoft pistols and rifles eventually spread to China, Hong Kong, the Phillipines and Taiwan mostly due to the restrictions on firearms in these countries. In the 1980's Daisy BB Gun Company began marketing two spring gun models called Replisoft and Soft Air used by opposing players to shoot each other.
